BIFA’s Advisory Committee guides and advises the team on plans for the year’s activity including the award ceremony, the industry and public programmes. The Committee is primarily comprised of industry experts, who apply their insight and knowledge to BIFA’s activity plans to make sure that the organisation is delivering the best possible service to the independent film industry and to independent film audiences. The Advisory Committee includes four spaces for under25 members, who are mentored by current or recent committee members. It may also include individuals from outside of the film industry with expertise in issues that the organisation is facing.
