Jessica Malik

Jessica Malik is a BIFA-nominated film and television producer. She started her film career in 2004 at Capitol Films, the sales, financing and production outfit behind Gosford Park, before moving on to launch Exclusive Media. She rose to the role of Senior International Sales Executive handling international sales on over 500 feature films including the box office smash Woman in Black, Matt Reeves’ Let Me In and Ron Howard’s Rush.  Jessica moved into producing in 2011. She is currently in production on a six part TV show for SKY based on Nick Hornby’s novel Funny Girl starring Gemma Arterton, Rupert Everett and David Threllfall. The series is written by Morwenna Banks and directed by Oliver Parker.

Her film credits include Charlotte Colbert’s BIFA nominated She Will which won Best First feature at Locarno and premiered at the London Film Festival, TIFF runner up winning Zaytoun starring Stephen Dorff, Ghosted which premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival and Estranged starring Amy Manson.

Jessica also produced the viral satirical short entitled Leading Lady Parts in support of the Times Up and #MeToo campaigns which went out on BBC starring Gemma Arterton, Catherine Tate, Gemma Chan, Felicity Jones, Anthony Welsh, Tom Hiddleston, Florence Pugh, Wunmi Mosaku and many others.
