Sophie Scott is Director of Corporate Communications & Public Affairs International for Warner Bros. Prior to joining WB Sophie was a communications consultant for seven years, she worked as a unit publicist, managed the publicity for theatrical and home entertainment releases, campaigned for awards and oversaw red-carpet media management for premieres and events – including on behalf of BIFA. Projects Sophie worked on span the studio and independent business such as Interstellar, The Hobbit, Edge of Tomorrow, Lost in London, Human Flow, Juliet Naked, “The Rook” and Comic Relief’s “Red Nose Day Actually”, Empire Magazine’s “Empire Live” event and the V&A’s “Hollywood Costume Exhibition Gala”.

Sophie was previously UK & International Publicity Manager for Icon Films until 2011, where she worked on the release campaigns for films including Drive, Looking For Eric, Precious and Man on Wire.

Sophie started her career in film as the Events and Communications Manager for the New Producers Alliance from 2004 to 2007, which is when she first had the pleasure to collaborate with BIFA and Raindance.
