Rachel Ramsay
Rachel Ramsay is a BIFA-nominated, multilingual writer, director, journalist, and documentary filmmaker with a background at BBC World Service, CNN International, The New York Times, and France 24. Her co-directorial debut, Copa 71, opened TIFF Docs 2023 and screened to critical acclaim at major festivals worldwide. As a TV producer, she has developed and delivered high-profile factual series for most major broadcasters, including Clarkson’s Farm; This is Football (both Amazon Prime), and Travel Man (Channel 4). Rachel has also produced several feature documentaries with New Black Films, including The Flight of Bryan, The End of the Storm, Sachin: A Billion Dreams, and Le Mans: Racing is Everything. She specialises in character-driven, cross-cultural stories with a global reach, crafting narratives that reflect the zeitgeist and amplify untold voices across international cinema and television. Rachel is currently developing her first fiction feature.
