Monica Chadha

Monica has broad and extensive experience in both executive and non-executive roles across the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) space. She secured her first non-executive role at the age of 24 at the British Video Association, and her first executive role as Production Director at Prism Leisure Corporation Plc aged 25.

Previously she was Chairman of the British Board of Film Classification Advisory Group; a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Digital Communications Board; Industry Trust for Intellectual Property Awareness; and Non-Executive Director at Voddess Portal Ltd. Her last executive position was as CEO of MyMovies.Net Ltd, a UK market-leading service delivery company that aggregated, curated and monetised content for retail, internet service providers and mobile networks.

Currently Monica is a Non-Executive Director of Obviously Creative Ltd; Vice Chair of Queen Mary University of London where she also chairs the Remuneration Committee; and Chair of the British Independent Film Awards Advisory Board.

Monica runs her own consultancy and is an Ashridge-trained Executive Coach. She is an alumna of the Deloitte Women on Boards Programme, and the BAME on Boards Programme – both by invitation and aimed at senior executives considering a NED position at a UK listed company. She was appointed an ambassador for Women on Boards in 2018, and a ‘Super NED’ by FDS Director Services and the University of Salford in the same year.
