Jumafor Ajogwu is a UK-based producer and founder of Bold Pictures, passionate about bold, emotionally resonant films that centre underrepresented voices. He has worked on acclaimed titles including Lionheart (Nigeria’s first Netflix Original) and The Milkmaid (Nigeria’s 2020 Oscar submission). Most recently, he served as production manager on My Father’s Shadow, a BBC/Element Pictures feature which premiered in Un Certain Regard at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival to wide critical acclaim — including four starts from The Guardian, five stars from The Telegraph, and rave reviews from Variety and Deadline. His next film, Sleepless, is a genre-blending supernatural thriller rooted in identity, legacy, and family. Jumafor is a Screen Yorkshire alumnus and an advocate for internationally relevant stories that reflect the emotional and cultural complexities of modern Britain.
