Jamie Fraser

Jamie Fraser is a screenwriter and director from the UK. In 2024, he was selected as one of Screen International’s Rising Stars Scotland. Growing up in Scotland, Brunei and France, Jamie studied literature at the University of Cambridge, where he began his writing career in stand-up and sketch comedy. Previous credits include religious satire SAY YOUR PRAYERS and episodes of Sky One’s LIVING THE DREAM. In recent years, Jamie has prioritized directing his own work, pursuing a MFA in film at Gothenburg’s HDK-Valand Art Academy. His short film GREEN SPACE won Best Film at Flatpack Festival, and was selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick. Jamie is currently developing his directorial debut with BBC Film.
