Corin Hardy is an award-winning filmmaker and music video director. From a young age, he developed a dark and distinctive visual flair for creating monsters, making a number of animations and super-8 films throughout his teenage years as well as working in art, costume, prop and special effects departments on various productions.Hardy studied Special Effects at the Wimbledon School of Art before making his award-winning stop-motion short film Butterfly in 2003. He went on to directing more shorts and music videos for a variety of bands including The Prodigy, Biffy Clyro, Olly Murs, Keane, Paolo Nutini and Ed Sheeran, as well as underground indie acts The Horrors, Dry The River and The Horrible Crowes, all produced with Academy Films. His music videos have accrued over 120 million views and won numerous awards around the world.
 
As a keen sculptor,illustrator and filmmaker, Hardy’s balance of the live-action and animated displays a technical elegance and sophisticated approach. In 2011, Screen International selected Hardy as on of their ‘Stars Of Tomorrow.’ The Hallow marks Hardy’s feature film debut he has most recently been trapped by Relativity Studios to direct their remake of The Crow.
