Anthony Toma

Anthony is a Sundance-winning producer and the co-owner of Deadbeat Films, a London-based production company known for bold, socially engaged storytelling. With over a decade of experience across film and commercial work, they balance creative ambition with pragmatic production expertise. Anthony’s debut feature Swede Caroline played theatrically in the UK and was acquired by Sky. They are currently developing their second feature based on the short film Matar. Passionate about championing underrepresented voices, they recently produced Nuisance, a short film confronting the issue of elder abuse, and Bury Your Gays, releasing this year, which explores damaging narrative tropes for queer characters. Across both narrative and branded content, Anthony remains committed to pushing for authentic representation and impactful storytelling. Anthony’s work has screened at major international festivals and they continue to foster emerging talent through inclusive and collaborative production practices.
