THE LONG GOODBYE

In a dystopian near-future, a far right march plays out on the television of a British South Asian family, who’s everyday lives are suddenly and brutally disrupted when they are dragged from their home and packed into vans by aggressive paramilitaries. Shocking and intense, this is a powerful, poetic and utterly devastating exploration of unspoken fears and unimaginable reality. Aneil Karia’s award winning short film was co-written by  Riz Ahmed, who is electrifying in the lead role.
UK 2020 Dir. Aneil Karia 12 min
