Lynne Ramsay

Lynne’s first feature film Ratcatcher won her the Douglas Hickox Award for Best Debut Director at BIFA in 1999. The film garnered a host of awards internationally. She followed this up with Morvern Callar, an adaptation of the novel by Alan Warner, and more critical acclaim.

In 2018, her film You Were Never Really Here earned eight BIFA nominations including two for Ramsay herself in the Best Screenplay and Best Director category.
