Charles Gant

Charles Gant is Features Editor of Screen International. Charles writes two weekly analyses of UK box-office (for The Telegraph and the BFI Film Audience Network) as well as monthly column “The Numbers” for Sight & Sound magazine. The former Film Editor at Heat magazine, he continues as the publication’s main film critic. He has served on juries for BAFTA and Berlinale Shooting Stars. Charles was formerly Deputy Editor of UK style magazine The Face. His UK box office column for theguardian.com was published from 2009-2019.
