BFI NETWORK supports new writers, directors and producers from across the UK: people from any place, any age, any background. Every year, we invest around £2.5 million of National Lottery funding, which so far has produced over 420 short films and supported over 240 first feature developments.
We’re a network of partners, formed of the five English Film Hubs of the BFI Film Audience Network, Film Cymru Wales, Northern Ireland Screen, Scottish Film Talent Network (in partnership with Screen Scotland) and Doc Society, with backing from the BFI. We also work with BAFTA, BIFA, British Council and the Grierson Trust to provide professional development programmes and activity.
