Babak Anvari’s chilling Farsi-language horror film picked up three awards at this year’s BIFAs: Debut Director, Best Screenwriter (both for Babak Anvari) and Best Supporting actress for Avin Manshadi. Additionally, the film has been entered as the UK’s entry to the Academy Awards in the Best Film in a Foreign Language category and has been nominated for two BAFTAs.
