BIFA Champions

We are looking for passionate, committed film fans from around the UK to support BIFA Independents, our fantastic year-long season of screenings of specially-curated films. 

BIFA Independents is our exciting new series of year-round screenings of BIFA winners and nominees. Each month we'll bring you one of the best British films of the year to discover at an Everyman, Odeon or Vue cinema near you.

As a BIFA Champion, you'll be the go-to person in your area for BIFA news. We'll work with you to spread the word and to create audiences for the films at your local cinema. We'll also ask you to attend the screenings and find out what audiences thought about the films. The season started on Sunday 11th December with screenings of the winner of the Best British Independent Film award, Andrea Arnold's American Honey and continued with Under the Shadow on 24th January and Trespass Against Us on 27th February. The next screening is Gareth Tunley's The Ghoul, starring Tom Meeten and Alice Lowe, on 27th March.

BIFA Champions get free tickets to all BIFA Independents events (for you and your friends) as well as films and goodies in the mail from us.  

We will also host exclusive BIFA Champion-only competitions with awesome cinema giveaways, and the top BIFA Champion of the year will be invited to the BIFA Afterparty in December 2017! 

Becoming a BIFA Champion will give you access to a whole new range of indie film, as well as the opportunity to work closely with the BIFA team and to gain hands-on film marketing experience.
